Classic Cars on The Prom 05/09/04

It was really hot this weekend.  I took the lightweight down to Bournemouth with the roof off.  Guy was going to be taking his Porsche Spyder down too, but there was an accident on the M27 and they actually closed the motorway.  So after a long delay sitting in traffic, Guy gave me a call to say that he was going to give it a miss.

I thought I would give the forest road a try and if it was too bad I would just turn round.  It was pretty bad, just crawling about 5 miles from Lyndhurst, so I decided to take a right and head off through the forest through the back of Cadnam and then get on the other side of Lyndhurst.  We did this and it was fine after Lyndhurst the rest of the way.

There were not that many motors there, I think it was just too hot.  Pictures below of some of those that were there.
